Taiwanese living in remote areas often don’t get the same high quality medical care that city dwellers enjoy and often have to travel long tiring distances to see a specialist. the Taichung Veterans General Hospital is trying to change this. It has set up a makeshift medical station in a gym in rural Xihu Township in Miaoli County to serve people in remote areas.
