This footage shows astronauts walking on the Moon surface during NASA’s Apollo missions. Between 1969 and 1972, astronauts explored the Moon in low gravity and worked in a completely airless environment. The Moon’s gravity is only one-sixth of Earth’s, which is why astronauts move slowly and bounce. They collected rock samples, set up scientific experiments, and studied the lunar surface.
