2 NASA astronauts to complete first spacewalk of 2026 outside International Space Station
Two NASA astronauts aboard the International Space Station will complete a spacewalk on Thursday morning to make preparations for future technology installation.
NASA has postponed a planned Jan. 8 spacewalk outside the International Space Station due to a "medical concern" with an unnamed crew member.
NASA astronaut Suni Williams has retired. Williams, along with the now-retired Butch Wilmore, rode on the Boeing Starliner to the space station.
A NASA spokeswoman said the astronaut with the medical concern, whom she did not identify, was in a stable condition on the orbiting laboratory.
"We are actively evaluating all options, including the possibility of an earlier end to Crew-11’s mission," the agency said
